Contract - Professional Organising and declutterer services
Updated September 2025
This is an agreement between Kelly-Ann .M. Wagner (Professional Organiser) and
…………………………………………………………………...(Client)
As your Professional Organiser, I Kelly-Ann .M. Wagner will offer you pluralistic Professional Organising and declutterer services and will abide by the ethics of my professional body, which is Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO). https://www.apdo.co.uk/member/kelly-ann-wagner-.html
Modality of Work
The way I work is rooted in a Pluralistic approach. This means I recognise that no single method works for everyone, all of the time. Each person is unique, and so the support they need will also be unique in professional organising and decluttering, I draw from a range of methods and perspectives so we can work together in a way that best supports you.
In Practice
We will take time to explore your goals, preferences, and values. You will have an active voice in shaping our work together. For organising and decluttering, this might mean creating practical systems, breaking down overwhelming tasks into manageable steps, exploring the emotional meaning of possessions, or finding supportive strategies to maintain change over time. My approach is flexible, collaborative, and responsive to your changing needs.
What this means for you as my client
You can expect a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where we work together as equals.Your preferences and goals will guide our work. I may offer different approaches, but the choice of what feels right for you will always be respected.
You will be invited to share feedback about how the process feels, so we can continually shape the work to suit you best.
Our Sessions
Our sessions will last for sixty minutes. We can meet at a time that suits you on google meet or in person with prior arrangements. I offer daytime slots from Monday to Friday and other slots with prior arrangement. You can attend sessions weekly or fortnightly and monthly may be agreed based on prior arrangements. I will be guided by what works for you.
Fees
I charge £60 per session. This can be paid prior to sessions by bank transfer.
My bank details will be provied directly in your contract.
At some point during our work together, there may be a price increase. I aim only to affect these as necessary annually in April. Yet under any circumstances I will give you at least two months' notice of any price increases.
Cancellations
Sometimes things can happen in life that make it difficult for us to attend our counselling sessions. Sometimes we do not get a lot of notice of these things happening. It may be that you or someone you live with becomes unwell on the day of our appointment.
If you cannot attend, I would appreciate it if you could contact me by text and let me know. If you do this, there will be no financial costs to your rescheduling. Hopefully, we will find a slot to reschedule reasonably quickly.
It might be that I need to cancel at short notice occasionally too. I will do my utmost to give you as much notice as possible and will aim to reschedule our session promptly.
Do Not Attend (DNA)
If you fail to attend a session and do not tell me that you will not be attending, there will be a financial penalty. I request full payment for a ‘No Show’.
Administration
All my administration tasks are carried out by myself on google workspaces. Any initial correspondence, contract, appointment notifications, cancellations etc, will be communicated to you by email, text or call, we will discuss your preferences within the first session. You are still completely free to contact me directly.
Data Protection & GDPR
To communicate with you, I will gather some basic information from you. This will include: - your name, address, mobile number, email address. I will store your details within my GDPR compliant, fully encrypted, password- and 2-FA admin portal.
